Talk to your Post about putting an ad in the Mid-Winter Conference book. The purpose of this meeting is to recognize our Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen, and Teachers. You can use your ad to recognize winners at every level. Ads are $150 for a full page ad and $100 for a half page. 

Same bat-time, same bat-channel. Call is at 19:00. We will catch up on what's coming up with the new year and answer any questions you have about quartermaster-ing and adjutant life. Use the same link we normally use.  In the meantime may your holidays be filled with cheer and your new year prosperous. Merry Christmas! 

  We had 10 quartermasters take advantage of the training at HQ today. Lots of good questions and discussion. Of course we want new QMs to get the knowledge they need but we also want them to meet and get to know each other. Together we are stronger. And protecting your Post, District and Department assets is critical as we move forward. Thanks for all who attended. We'll see when we can do another.

Commander-in-Chief Tim Borland has set out the first Commander’s Challenge for the membership year.   During the month of September 2022, we’re going to be focusing on increasing our Annual members. This is going to count new members, continuous members who renew during the month of September, reinstated members, and dues-paying transfers. At the end of the month, we’re going to take the five top Posts in each division and hold a drawing for a $500 award to be deposited directly into the Post account.   Getting off to a strong start in the first quarter of the membership year is imperative to building momentum that will continue throughout the year. We have our goals and the tools necessary to achieve them. All we need is the motivation and the call to action – and that call has gone out. Remember when we’re out there speaking with our members and the veterans in our community, that EVERY VETERAN COUNTS.

For those of you who might not have seen this. VFW National's fiscal year ends August 31st. "The Member Service Center is preparing for the VFW fiscal year-end, please be advised on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 11:30 am CDT dues payments, installment payments, installment enrollment, magazine subscriptions, member transfers, and member updates will be taken, but will experience a slight delay in processing. We expect to resume normal processing on or before Wednesday, September 8, 2022. "We will continue to take store orders during VFW Store inventory which begins Thursday, August 25, 2022, and runs through Wednesday, August 31, 2022; however, shipping of orders or the processing of cancellations/returns will not be available until September 1, 2022." Just put the 2022-23 bonding info up on the QM Continuity page. Rates are the same as last year but please read the bonding notes.  We also updated the QM checklist for the new year. You'll know you have the new one because it says "2022-23" on the top and it has green highlights instead of red. Thanks for all you do!
