Thank Burger King Winners!

Last month, we celebrated #ThankBK Appreciation Week to honor the Burger King franchise owners who contribute to our VFW Unmet Needs program every year. VFW Posts and Auxiliaries were challenged to #ThankBK and be entered to win a $1,000 VFW Foundation Community Support Grant. We had over 200 entries this year! Congratulations Post 2667 Newnan on winning!

Conducted QM Training

We held a monthly QM training class tonight. We covered: Time for annual Incorporation update. A new link has been added to the Quartermaster Continuity Book on the Georgia VFW webpage (georgiavfw.org) under the Resources tab. Went over the General Order (#6) that was sent out today. End of year is coming up so help your Post make sure they have all bases covered. (The program year ends on April 30.) Discussed an email from Georgia Secretary of State office saying that they will be sending out info on the Annual Bingo Report and that the due date may be slipped till the end of April. Stay tuned and let QM Carroll know if you hear any more detail on this.
